Our heavy-duty and industrial-grade custom casters are designed to meet the unique needs of various industries. At Caster Concepts, we understand that specialized applications require specialized solutions, which is why our product line is meticulously crafted to cater to the most demanding environments.
Specialty casters include a wide array of products tailored to specific requirements. From high-load-bearing capacities to specialized tread patterns, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, our collection offers a wide variety of options to suit your needs. Whether you’re in the aerospace, ground support, agriculture, heavy equipment, automotive, AGVs, conveyor, tire manufacturing, or marine industry, we have the perfect solution for your material handling challenges.
Because we laser cut, form, weld, and assemble casters as ordered, more superficial customizable changes are usually considered modifications and don’t add to lead time. This is due to our unique investments in one-piece flow and in-house design and engineering capabilities. These modified caster options apply to both our stock and custom casters, such as adding a brake or a toe guard to improve safety.
Looking for a specialty caster or need to modify an existing part number? Our CAD Configurator streamlines the process and allows you to design the exact caster you need.
The CAD Configurator creates 3-D CAD models of heavy duty casters available for download in more than 150 formats and CAD files for more than 20,000 standard models. For convenience, you can customize and configure parts by changing heights, leads, and mounting patterns.
At Caster Concepts, we pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Our specialty casters and caster wheels are engineered to withstand the toughest conditions, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and longevity. We understand that downtime can be costly, which is why our products are designed to minimize maintenance and maximize productivity.
We partner with innovators who are at the forefront of their respective industries and responsible for improving productivity and safety through material handling projects. They want solutions that can deliver significant returns on investment while enhancing ergonomics, increasing load capacity, and reducing caster replacements.
By choosing Caster Concepts’ specialty casters, you’re not just investing in a product; you’re investing in a partnership with a company dedicated to providing innovative solutions that drive efficiency, safety, and profitability. Caster Concepts can design a fully custom or specialty caster from scratch for various applications. Our customers tend to go the custom route when trying to retrofit casters into a legacy operation. This usually happens when the original casters are unavailable or must maintain unique mating heights.
Custom casters are also popular in the aerospace industry when moving cumbersome, complex loads that require particular floor loading stress and shock absorption properties while meeting strict safety factors.
Whether a simple modification or a fully customized design involving our experienced in-house engineering and manufacturing teams, we aim to solve your specific requirements. Our abilities include but are not limited to:

Caster Concepts has a wide variety of caster options. Many of these not only improve function – but also provide safety and add longevity to the product. When considering safety options, the most common consideration would be caster locks, caster brakes, toe guards, and reinforced legs. Options that extend the life of a caster are primarily options that seal the bearing of the caster to prevent contamination of the precision parts.
Other options include threaded zerks for when an application is difficult and high level of maintenance is required and track brush wipers that keep debris from stopping movement or damaging a wheel. These options can be added at the time of manufacturing or after the caster is fully assembled.
