Caster Concepts introduces its expanded line of spring loaded steel and aluminum casters. Called MS spring-loaded casters, these versatile casters utilize a linear suspension system that achieves optimal shock reduction, and drastically reduces shimmy, dynamic bounce, and resonance — whether the cart is empty or loaded beyond its rated capacity.
You’ll find MS casters in all major industries, including ground support, automotive, military equipment, food service, and many others where load production and durability are important. With its natural luster and shine, aluminum looks good too.
MS spring-loaded casters are designed for the most demanding applications, offering the most durable and reliable shock-isolating casters and suspension casters available.
MS offers an extensive line of spring-loaded, shock absorbing and vibration damping steel or aluminum casters. Our aluminum casters are entirely aluminum, including yoke, swivel section, and wheel core, making these casters:
Our dual wheel models utilize a fully independent suspension, with each wheel having its own separate legs and axle. This design helps keep both wheels on the ground and the cart or dolly level, even when the ground isn’t. It also helps avoid excessive stress on just one wheel, reducing the risk of failure and potential injuries.
Our aluminum casters are ideal for challenging situations. They can handle water, most chemicals, moisture, humidity, and other conditions that would rust or corrode iron and steel. MS casters are also available with rubber wheels, offering the same benefits as pneumatic tires while protecting floors.
Weight capacities range from 500lbs to 25,000lbs per caster, and have a lower overall height than most casters rated at the same capacity, making MS casters the right choice for a variety of applications.
Caster Concepts has a wide variety of caster options. Many of these not only improve function – but also provide safety and add longevity to the product. When considering safety options, the most common consideration would be caster locks, caster brakes, toe guards, and reinforced legs. Options that extend the life of a caster are primarily options that seal the bearing of the caster to prevent contamination of the precision parts.
Other options include threaded zerks for when an application is difficult and high level of maintenance is required and rack brush wipers that keep debris from stopping movement or damaging a wheel. These options can be added at the time of manufacturing or after the caster is fully assembled.
