The laser-cut formed legs provide additional strength, making them ideal for applications with side loading or skidding. Crafted with durability in mind, the yoke and top plate are manufactured through a drop forged process using C-1045 steel. The top plate features a machined raceway, while the threaded kingpin and 5-inch diameter machined yoke base raceway enhance stability. Components are heat treated to achieve a hardness of 40 + 2 Rc. The caster is equipped with a 1.25-inch precision tapered thrust bearing pressed over the kingpin, along with hardened ball bearings to complete the load-bearing raceway.
