This caster boasts sealed precision ball bearings in the swivel section, ensuring reliable performance without the need for regular maintenance. With its high hardness and precision machining tolerances, the swivel section evenly distributes loads and offers extended longevity in continuous-use scenarios. The 97 Series provides superior maneuverability, reducing the strain on powered carts and AGVs while offering better ease of movement. Featuring a 1/2-inch x 4-inch steel leg design, a 1-1/4-inch diameter axle, and sealed lubricated ball bearings, this caster guarantees effortless operation and zero maintenance.
Paired with our general-purpose, 1-inch thick tread, H.D. Standard Polyurethane (Shore 95A Hardness) wheel, this caster becomes good for numerous industrial applications. It is non-marking with high tear strength and resistance to flat spotting, as well as a good solvent and water resistance. This wheel is capable carrying loads up to 3700 lbs. and has a 1-inch thick tread which is denoted by the H.D. in the wheel material. Featuring our precision tapered bearings, the wheels are capable of absorbing excessive side thrust loading and can be used where high speed operation is essential, all with a load rating of 5500 lbs.
