This 12-inch by 4-inch 81 series kingpinless caster, is renowned for it’s unique single ball race design that ensures a high-strength swivel section. The top plate and yoke base are securely aligned using 3/4 inch high-quality hardened ball bearings, enabling smooth and reliable swiveling. The longevity of these casters is enhanced by their effortless swiveling, result in years of low-cost operation. Manufactured through a drop forged process with C-1045 steel, the yoke and top plate exhibit exceptional strength. The swivel section features a precision-machined 4-inch single ball bearing and a load/thrust raceway in a kingpinless style, where the 3/4 inch diameter load/thrust ball bearings are positioned in shear load, effectively locking the swivel section. Combined with tread that is 1-inch thick of our hardest polyurethane wheel formulation, the 70D durometer rating of the hard polyurethane material ensures optimal hardness, providing excellent load-bearing capacity and resistance to abrasion. Packed with our straight roller bearings, which are most effective for heavy loads, and are a great option when facing excessive thrust loading, these casters are rated for 6600 lbs.
