This 12-inch by 5-inch 97 Series caster, provides superior maneuverability, reducing the strain on powered carts and AGVs while offering better ease of movement. Featuring a 1/2-inch x 4-inch steel leg design, and 1-1/4-inch diameter axle, this rigid caster guarantees effortless operation.
Paired with ductile iron wheels, they feature many of the same characteristics of cast iron however, ductile iron has higher tensile and yield strengths. Its greater strength and flexibility — and less brittle-like cast iron tendency — help ductile iron become a better alternative in shocking applications. Featuring our precision tapered bearings, the wheels are capable of absorbing excessive side thrust loading and can be used where high speed operation is essential, all with a load rating of 10000 lbs.
