This 12-inch by 4-inch 95 Series caster is the perfect choice for applications demanding high load capacities and continuous use under load. With an integrally forged kingpin and slotted adjusting nut, this caster enhances strength and ensures long-lasting performance in the swivel section. Crafted from hot forged C-1045 steel, the 95 Series features a robust construction. The 7-inch diameter load raceway is precision-machined and accommodates 5/8 inch diameter ball bearings along with a 1-1/4 inch tapered thrust bearing. These components work together seamlessly, providing exceptional load-bearing capacity and reliable operation. Paired with ductile iron wheels, they feature many of the same characteristics of cast iron however, ductile iron has higher tensile and yield strengths. Its greater strength and flexibility — and less brittle-like cast iron tendency — help ductile iron become a better alternative in shocking applications.
