ALBION, Mich. (Feb. 28, 2011) – Dr. William Dobbins, President/CEO of Caster Concepts, Inc., has been appointed to the board of directors of The Enterprise Group of Jackson, Inc (www.enterprisegroup.org). The board is made up of leaders from the public and private sector in Jackson County, Michigan, and the surrounding communities.
Established in 1997, the Enterprise Group of Jackson, Inc. (EG) is a private/public partnership organized to promote and coordinate economic development initiatives and create wealth within Jackson County. Comprised of Jackson’s leading business organizations, the EG includes the Economic Development Division, the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association (JAMA) and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
“I am honored to be appointed to the EG board,” said Dobbins, adding that this appointment is an extension of his work as a member of the board of the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association. “JAMA is a great organization and extremely valuable to the Jackson community,” he said. “JAMA is also a key partner with the EG. It is my goal that my work on each of these boards will be valuable to the entire area.”
