Grimshaw Industrial Design presented an exhibition, Elements, at the FuoriSalone in Milan, Italy April 8-13, 2014. The exhibition showcased a range of industrial design components embedded in some of the company’s more prominent architectural projects.
Under the displays were eighty of our 37 Series 4×2 inch swivel casters with heavy duty soft poly wheels. These are the maintenance-free casters that require no lubrication and are designed for their ease of movement. They were an ideal fit for this application due to their low push force and non-marring performance.
Presented inside prefabricated steel cases, the exhibition featured mixed-media content including photography, drawings, models and structural details. Several key projects in the exhibition were brought to life using the latest 3D-augmented reality technology that can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet through a specially developed Elements app.
