6x2.5 Cast Iron Swivel Caster

This 6-inch by 2.5-inch 71 series caster has the highest load capacity rating in our line-up of single ball race swivel sections. The bearings in the swivel section act as both load and thrust components and lock the swivel section together to distribute the load over a larger area. The wheels are constructed of premium Class 30 gray iron for maximum load capacity and impact strength. They feature heavy cross section castings for heavy duty use, abrasion resistance and a long service life. Each wheel is precision machined with rounded edges to finished tolerance. Featuring our precision tapered bearings, the wheels are capable of absorbing excessive side thrust loading and can be used where high speed operation is essential, all with a load rating of 2500 lbs.
