Swivel Section: Sealed dual row ball bearings

Legs: 3/8 inch x 2.75 inch laser cut from mild steel, CNC formed and continuously welded on the inside and outside of the yoke base

Kingpin: Kingpinless Style Design with precision ball bearings

Axle: 3/4 inch diameter, zinc plated, fine threads

Lubrication: Sealed ball bearing is lubricated and requires zero maintenance.

Wheel Diameter: 8 inches – 12 inches

Wheel Width: 3 inches

Overall Height: 10.5 inches- 12.5 inches

Swivel Lead: 3.5 inches standard

Finish: Zinc plated standard, wet paint and powder coat paint are options.

Top Plate: 5×7.25x.38 size with 3.375 x 5.25 slotted to 4.125 x 6.125 with 1/2 mounting bolts. Optional sizes available.

77 Series Caster

Overview

The 77 Series Caster utilizes a dual (sealed precision) bearing design, enabling smooth and easy rotation with a maximum capacity of up to 3,500lbs per caster.  This caster series is the first in the Maintenance Free line to support 3″ wide wheels, up to a 10″ diameter. When coupled with TWERGO® 3″ wide wheels, this caster provides excellent ergonomic performance, even with a wider wheel. The dual bearings also help reduce push force when starting the cart rolling, while the wheels are not all parallel.

Application

Excellent for production racks (power transported, manually handled and mobile fixtures), parts bins, conveyor system, and other applications where maintenance free casters and ergonomics are concerns.

Options

Caster Concepts has a wide variety of caster options. Many of these not only improve function – but also provide safety and add longevity to the product. When considering safety options, the most common consideration would be caster locks, caster brakes, toe guards, and reinforced legs. Options that extend the life of a caster are primarily options that seal the bearing of the caster to prevent contamination of the precision parts.

Other options include threaded zerks for when an application is difficult and high level of maintenance is required and rack brush wipers that keep debris from stopping movement or damaging a wheel. These options can be added at the time of manufacturing or after the caster is fully assembled.
