Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated supervisor to lead our Reaction Industries team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polyurethane production processes, a proven track record in supervisory roles, and the ability to manage a team effectively. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring quality production, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of employees, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and working cohesively towards operational goals.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members to optimize productivity and quality.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Reaction Industries production process, from material preparation to finished product.
  • Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet production targets and customer needs.
  • Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet established standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process, addressing any deviations promptly.

Safety Compliance:

  • Uphold strict safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Identify potential safety hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate production records, including production volumes, quality metrics, and any incidents or deviations.
  • Generate regular reports for upper management, highlighting operational performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs for team members and coordinate training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in polyurethane production techniques.


  • Highly motivated and skilled individual who is willing to work on the shop floor, get dirty and solve issues and improve processes.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a supervisory role within a polyurethane production or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of open cast polyurethane production processes and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, cross-functional teams, and upper management.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and creating a safe work environment.
  • Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
