Case Study: Steering Component for Large Trucks
We Build Trust
A manufacturer of automotive and truck steering columns and shifters was having difficulty with a telescoping steering wheel mechanism for large trucks. The part needed to be able to slide back and forth freely while also handling more torque than it previously was able to handle. This change in torque required a more robust product than what the original part could handle.
The manufacturer had a previous relationship with Triple E Manufacturing, so they did not hesitate contacting them to manufacture this new part. Triple E Manufacturing offers contract machining, tool design and machine building and is part of the Caster Concepts umbrella of businesses.
