Caster Concepts in the Community
Richard H. Dobbins, founder of Caster Concepts, emphasized the importance of companies producing high quality products for their customers while adding value to the surrounding community. Dick was actively involved in enhancing and improving opportunities for those who live in the communities that surround Albion, Michigan.
Current President, William H. Dobbins, has followed in his father’s path, committed to playing an active role in the community. Caster Concepts and its family of business seek to build relationships and support local not-for-profit organizations in two main areas: community development and manufacturing education.
Caster Concepts contributes to the cultural development of the local community by sponsoring cultural events such as the Swingin’ At The Shell summer concert series.
Manufacturing Education Fund
Caster Concepts, Inc. established the Manufacturing Education Fund, a donor advised fund at the Albion Community Foundation in memory of Richard H. Dobbins, founder of Caster Concepts. This fund was established to support economic growth in the Albion community and surrounding areas. See a list of our 2013 “I Can Make It!” math and science camp recipients here.
