Technology Platform Highlights
CasterShoX™ has three basic technology platforms:
- The 10 series platform for consumer or light industrial applications. Designed to fit wheels with diameters from 1.5" to 3", such as those found in office use, and light duty medical products.
- The 15 series platform for medium duty industrial applications. Designed to fit into wheels with diameters from 3" to 6", such as those found in semi-conductor manufacturing, food processing facilities, and hospital environments.
- The 20 series platform for heavy duty industrial applications. Designed to accommodate wheels with diameters from 5.5" to 8", such as those in automotive and aerospace assembly facilities.
The 10 series platform handles working loads from as little as 20 pounds up to 200 pounds per shock absorber. The 15 series platform handles working loads from 100 pounds up to 500 pounds per shock absorber. The 20 series platform handles working loads ranging from as little as 200 pounds to as much as 1,500 pounds per shock absorber. CasterShoX™ believes that these three platforms can meet the needs of the majority of applications found in the caster industry.
