Swivel Section: The hot forged, SAE 1045 steel swivel section features a precision machined 3-¼ inch diameter load race way with 7/16 inch precision hardened ball bearings.
Kingpin: ¾ inch integrally forged as part of the top plate with a fully machined stem and slotted adjusting nut.
Legs: 3/8 inches x 2.5 inches laser cut from mild steel and continuously welded inside and outside to the yoke base.
Axle: ¾ inch diameter axle that is zinc finished and fine threaded.
Lubrication: Pre-lubricated before shipping.
Wheels: 4 inch to 12 inch wheels
Finish: Standard: Zinc plated, wet paint or powder coat. Notched yoke base for field installation of swivel locks.

The 65 Series hot forged ultra heavy duty casters are heavier and stronger than cold forged casters of similar dimensions. The hot forged, machined raceway with an integral threaded kingpin provides a rugged swivel section for abusive application in the heavy duty range. The legs are laser cut from high quality sheet steel and formed on a CNC press brake to provide added strength when side loading or shock loading becomes a priority. The legs are then welded to the yoke base, both inside and outside, utilizing pulse welding technology to assure great penetration while providing added stability. The long wearing characteristics of the 60 Series caster allow it to outperform cold forged or stamped casters in continuous swivel scenarios.
